    I did a search but couldn't find anything. When I compose a text, the emojis/ icons show but when I send them, the message shows up as blank and the receiver says it's a blank message. Is there something I need to change? I've gone into settings but can't find anything pertaining to icons and emojis.

    Leave the emojis out and try again and see if they even get straight plain text. I know I occasionally get an email or text where there are obscure icons/text/mess which I presume means the person sending used some emoji that my device whether computer or tablet or cellphone can't deal with.
