Dropped mine at the office recently too. Also with the flip case. No damage.

I also dropped a phone recently on concrete and it too made the worst sound. Thank goodness for cases. Not even a mark. Glad your Priv is ok.

I've dropped mine a few times, but never on something too hard (lucky!). I've been sporting an OEM Flip Case, which is less protection than I am desire (where are you, OtterBox?).

Same happened to me yesterday, using a Blackberry hardshell case. Phone flew from the kitchen table face down. Nothing happened, maybe it's a tank like my old Z30 which dropped countless times on concrete, ceramic tiles etc. I don't wanna try it though.

I have mine in a Stilgut Flip case with clip. So if closed and dropped, the odds are the screen will be protected although corners might not be. But yesterday as I walked around the supermarket looking at my shopping list on the Priv, I was being careful as I fumbled with a product and the Priv while walking around the store. Accidents happen.

I have the StilGut case on my Blackberry Passport; it has performed very nicely. As far as the case for Priv, I opted for the smart flip case directly from Blackberry as it has the small window allowing visualization of certain functions, call, time, and other features. It works well. The exposure of the small area of the screen to external items has not proven a detriment up to this point.

I dropped mine with the BlackBerry case. Cracked the screen by the front camera. Still works flawless though.

Dropped mine on the bed, luckily, no damage. Had it been my Nokia 3310, I'd be up for a new bed.

I dropped mine several times, one time the glass cracked. Luckily it was just the protector.

Have to say the Smart Flip does a fine job protecting the phone.

& I can't see why; the case is handy but thin & the front is floppy ... perhaps it's not the case at all but rather the compliant structure of the Priv absorbing the impact force without sacrificing the glass?

Don't think it's the front flip but the plastic frame part of the case that does most of the protection.

Maybe also the thin air Blackberry installed inside all of their phones.

Hell, you might have had to close off that whole room permanently! That was one tough phone!
