I am getting sporadic "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" messages combined with a dropped call. It sometimes also occurs when I am sending text.

I notice my ROGERS connection indicator in the top left corner goes away and it says "No Sim" and my signal indicator gets an "X".

I have removed the Sim and re-inserted to make sure it was not out of place and force stopped the phone app and cleared cache.

I have also seen reduced battery life and overheating after the last update. I am on build AAF153.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, i think version 6.0 is to blame. There is an update 6.0.1 that my old android had. Now that I have a replacement, i don't have the update and i think it solved those issues. As some of those messages have returned for me on this replacement phone.

    DO you have the 6.0.1?

That's why these are beta builds.

I am not saying anything about not understanding they are beta or complaining that I made the decision to go to beta. I am just asking if any one has been able to find a fix or suggest a solution to try.

Wipe your device and start from scratch?

Autoloader or just wipe? I'm willing to do either if it may help.

Try a wipe, reset to scratch. Test a few calls. If it fails, autoloader.

Of we could root our privs we could just reflash the network stack.

You can also try using a different phone app.

AAF153 isn't a beta build, it's the 2nd iteration of Marshmallow, released to all non carrier STV100-1's
I've been running it since late May with no issues - And I'm not Beta.
Running on AT&T's network with Factory unlocked.

    Edit
Some builds listed on the sticky under beta were beta, but were released with no changes as 'gold'. As such, they are no longer beta.
Perhaps thurask should change or clarify that.
