Just a quick tip. Nova Launcher (any maybe others too) have gesture settings where you can define a double tap gesture and set it to "screen off". Now handling the Priv is much easier with double tap to wake and sleep without having to reach to the power button. The gestures work on the homescreen only but thats OK.

    Hope you like it.

Didn't know the DTEKs have it. I guess it's a hardware thing. But I'm happy that there's a workaround.

My Priv is in a leather folding case: just close case and set it face-down does the trick !

Really? The DTEKs have this? Well that means, the BB Launcher app has to be updated with this option!

I am having trouble with tap to wake on unlocked Priv? Do I have to have ambiet display on? Will that wake screen when getting notifications?

Double tap to wake and wake to notifications are completely separate. Wake to notifications is app specific and set in the app for most of them. Ambient has nothing to do with either.

Strange then I can't get it to respond to double tap or lift to wake! Oh well it's not that important I wouldn't want to go through the the hassle of trying to troubleshoot or replace so I'll live without those two features!!!!

Just turned on 'lift to wake' for the first time ever, it's more like 'shake vigorously to wake' about half the time.
But Iv'e been using double tap to wake since day one.
Just so we're not missing the obvious, you did turn them ON, under display?

I don't bother with lift to wake because I have wondered if it effects the battery life (no proof, from my quarter). I do notice that the 'double tap' function to wake is wonky at times. I miss the swipe from my Q10 (which I use half the time). But such is life, right?

Lag here as well. Took advice from the other thread going on to uninstall Hub +, which will remove all your email accounts, which is a pain. The theory from the other post is that their was too much data, due to bad programming on BB part. I will admit I had most of my accounts set to forever. I reinstalled, set them to 90 days and everything seems to be running smoothly for the past two hours. emails pop up right away and no more lag when going into the email, deleting email, etc
