Does setting all of the apps in dark mode increase battery life the same way as turning down the brightness of the screen? I sure hope so, but either way I still like how nice the dark screen looks.

Yes - only on the Priv, because of AMOLED.

It'll only help with the "Screen" in the battery stats. It won't make any difference with the "Android OS" , "Android System" drains though...

I owned several Privs and what helps make it last the longest is to give it light tasks so that the processor is never heating up.

Heat = wasted energy

having read the above thought I would see how long my priv battery would last.
Got just on 3 days allowing for 7 hours of prediction .
use moderate.
however used payed app killer after all sessions including Google maps. which seem to work fine me.
