The Slider and the Samsung S6 Edge have a different type of screen than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge which has a single edge screen and includes a special edge display.

From hands on video it looks like that screen is flat and only glass is curved..

this is from the "slider most likely coming to T-Mobile" thread . You can clearly see the display follows around the bend in the screen. So from this picture, it's definitely a curved screen and display . On the video, it looks like a curved screen but the display looks flat, it doesn't follow the Curve. So now I'm scratching my head, is the display curved also, or is it flat? Or is the display curved also, but doesn't always follow the Curve, depending on what you're doing? Seems like some of the pictures contradict themselves.

now here I took one of the still shots from the video and zoomed in. You can clearly see the curved screen but the display is flat and doesn't follow around with the Curve of the screen. So now I'm really confused too.

Note edge. The curve on the s6 and slider will be like 1/4 of that.

curved screen + display, just not as prominent as the note series - probably samsungs way of saying "we can't allow this to look like our screen tech" so they didn't curve it as much...

The Android version is curved because there's precedence with the Samsung Edge. The BB10 version is flat. It was differentiated like this to keep customers from getting confused.

You can tell too, look at the leaked pics, see where the reflection starts and its before the screen ends. clear sign the screen is curved.

It's a samsung screen, don't let anyone else tell you any different. It's also build by foxconn, that's where Samsung gets their stuff done.

I don't think is as curved as that.

Foxconn builds many phones and many screens. By your logic the screen should be the same size as well.
