Until reading thru this thread, I'd only opened the pkb once in the 9 days I've owned this. Think I need to give the money pkb a shot but the vkb is excellent.

I love both PRIV keyboards. See how I can say that? Both. Because it has 2 of them. Just the gadgetry of PRIV is worth it. It's seriously awesome having that choice and owning this seriously great piece of kit.

I used Physical Keyboard when writing long emails.
Now while my PRIV is away and am using BlackBerry Virtual Keyboard on my Note 5, I'm missing the physical keyboard.

I make so many mistakes with the Virtual keyboard.

Sort of 50/50 as the PKB is really bad.

I just glued my PRIV open. So that I can always see the physical keyboard.

I seriously hope it grew onto your hand, for ease of use. I could just imagine some really inconvenient areas of the body where the keyboard could grow on you. I like to make the worst jokes.

I use it all the time. I keep the phone extended on my desk/bedside/couch and pretty much type exclusively on the PKB. It'd be strange to spend this kind of money and never use it's prized feature.

Absolutely love the physical for long emails and texts. Been using the virtual more and more for quick replies. The auto correct is far superior to any other virtual I've ever used.

If I'm just doing something really quick I use the virtual keyboard. I literally just type the first three letters of the word and I swipe up for the predictions. very quick and smooth. If I'm having a conversation or I'm scrolling through apps or Web pages I use the touch sensitive keyboard. Physical keyboard is awesome though. if I'm on the home screen I use keyboard shortcuts to launch what I need. or I can just start typing to search something. great combo.

I use the pkb very little. Maybe 10% of the time. I type faster with the vkb. Over time I should be able to type faster on the pkb. It comes in handy and with the many shortcuts which is unfortunately no supported by Nova. So I can't use them now. I also use the pkb after dictating a long email etc. With the pkb it's easier to move the curser around to correct some typos. Sometime the long page scroll feature of the pkb comes in handy, but I find myself scrolling with the thumb all the time.
