    I guess once I go with Android, Google probably will be able to figure out every move I make if they want to. Could they technically or legally do that and use it against me is a different question... not saying I am important enough to attract the gaze from the eye of Sauron, but you never know...

    But is it technically possible for Google to fetch my files through BlackBerry 's protection? I mean, is it possible for Google do things like this on a Samsung or HTC's phone?

    In theory, any app that has access to your files has access to your files.
    If you do not trust the app or OS manufacturer, you should not be using them.
