How do you disable gmail without disabling your Google account altogether?

I can't find anything in settings>accounts that let's me remove gmail alone.

OK just figured it out! Just long press the icon and you get the option of disabling it.

Settings - accounts - Google and then you can turn the Gmail sync off. I would suggest leaving calendar and contacts on though as that syncs all your calendar and contacts info with the BlackBerry calendar and contacts.

I sometimes use the Gmail app only to get to some of my folders because I do not sync all the folders in the hub. I personally don't understand why anyone would want to disable it. Oh right, the double notifications is usually the reason. Settings > Apps > untick Show Notifications and it is all set. Disabling does not get rid of it so you might as well have it available in case you need it.
