Thinking about picking up a cheap PRIV for *hits and giggles. Regardless of old battery issues and the consequences therein, did the PRIV suffer much from 808 overheating and boot loops?

Mine got very hot at times and I suffered with severe battery drain when not even using the device... Never had a boot loop problem... KeyOne was a wholly better experience and one of the best phones I have ever owned...

I use a PRIV alongside a KEY2 Red Edition as daily drivers in 2020. With regards to PRIV I regularly clear cache and kill background process with a task manager app. Working fine. Have had it since June 2016. Just enjoy awesome screen, keyboard and overall form factor.

Mine after 5 years is pretty unusable, overheating problems even when not using the device and battery goes down so fast and sure for battery problem when I arrive at 30% it starts having bootloops and sudden deaths of the phone...
