I have to admit I'm a little bitter about BlackBerry dropping our beloved OS. I don't wish failure on anyone but I foresee this product getting released and (again) no one knowing that it exists due to lack of marketing.
How many times do people say to us, "I thought BlackBerry went out of business. Cool phone."

Their marketing, or lack thereof, properly said, has greased the slide for their long ride.
This better be heaped upon with $ and pronto. I'm a BlackBerry 10 fan, will stay with 10 but know they need these sales!

Hopefully this turns out to be a decent phone. Hopefully word of mouth and yes even some marketing helps blackberry.

I suspect we'll see an uptick in organic marketing.
I do believe word of mouth will be most important.
I wonder if the form factor might hold it back.
"Organic marketing"? I'm telling this forum that Chen is not going to lift a finger to raise awareness about this phone. When it fails people will say, "people just weren't interested in a slider."
Yet no one will know it exists just like the Z30 -- the best on screen typing experience ever.
