I just cracked my screen on my Priv. I was really loving it and would like to continue using it. So:

    - Blackberry support quoted $279 to replace the screen if I mail in my phone. They suggested I buy a new phone from their website for $349 instead.
    - eBay lists new Priv unlocked at around $279.

I would really like to find out a place that I can go to and get the screen replaced. I live in San Jose, CA. I was looking to replace the screen under $100. What are my options?

    Thanks!

Could you not try an online repair service to see if they offer a more realistic price? Not sure if they have these in US... https://www.cellphonerepair.com/smar...ir/blackberry/

Unfortunately from reports posted here, finding a screen replacement is not easy and it is NOT cheap. So you may not be able to get it done for your stated price. You may be stuck having to pay the high price or get a new Priv.

    Good luck

Under 100$ is impossible I believe. It's a very expensive screen. Plus you need to pay for labour.

You're absolutely not going to get anywhere for under $100. It's an expensive screen, cheapest I found was about $250

Even Etrade has the digitizer and screen listed for 275, and that is shipped from Hong Kong, and you need to repair. The new replacement is a better deal, IMHO.

I busted the digitizer in my screen. I threw it on the asphalt while waving down an Uber after a party, and while it had no visible damage, a large horizontal area of the screen stopped receiving touch input.

I bought a new Priv because the screen itself is expensive, and I'm not sure if prices for the screen will go down anytime soon. I also wouldn't have been able to be without a phone for however long it would take to repair it.

I say either buy a new Priv or wait for the KEYone.
