Why is everyone freaking out already? Unless it's the price on shop bb or the price that is sold outright by carriers everything should still be taken with a grain of salt.
800-950CAD is the ball park for sure.

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy one outright if I like it I will sell my S6 edge current prices for a gold S6 edge is around $700 on kijiji so that will lower my costs considerably.

Yes you can. It's part of the roll out the RIM campaign.

Bell just announced the 2nd most interesting Android Phone this year (to me), the Sony Z5 at $650! I was expecting Z5 to be close to $850.

$950 seems that much more crazy now.

Great point. And the Xperia z5 is a very high-end phone. The Priv will most likely be priced around $650

No it won't. It can not be lower than the passport MSRP which was 699.

Despite great phones, Sony has really struggled in North America. They may have given bell a great deal in order to try and make some inroads. Hmmm, that sounds familiar....

Weird Expansys.ca has the Z5 at $870, I wonder if this is a pricing error by Bell?

Also interesting carphone warehouse has the Priv and Z5 prices almost the same.

Expansys is generally higher with unlocked prices. 199/2-year with full price 699 sounds about ballpark, LG G4 is going for that much, trades off the 2560x1440 screen for a 808 instead of the 810. Sony only has 1920x1080.

Z5 is not the Z5 Premium, Z5 is a "meh" compared to the more premium counterpart.

Looks like BlackBerry will open up Priv orders this Friday | MobileSyrup.com
That's based on the Rogers price posted around here. ShopBB is confirmed at $949, Bla1ze just posted.

    ShopBlackBerry Online Store - PRIV

How can you argue with this.

I think that price is not the real one, as the page has been taken down.

Canadian carriers are selling 799.00 outright. Pay the 50.00 unlocking fee and it's still 100 bucks less then shopblackberry.ca

That's why I'm scratching my head. And I'm sure you can get the unlock elsewhere for cheaper.
