    I know I know,I'm a android newbie,but I'm having a hard time doing this ,let's say from an sms message,can't seem to find a way to do it.

    (On my s5)
    In a text message just press your finger down on the message and a it will pop up your options. Do the same to paste it. In the browser its the same idea but you get 2 little arrow thingy's that you slide around the text you want to copy.

    I try that already and it gave me options but not to copy or paste

    Copy text
    Forward
    Lock
    Copy to sim
    Share
    View message details

    If not then it must be different on the Priv...

    Thanks ! I see what's going on,on sms texts I can only select he whole message not individual words, that kind of socks.

    Yes that's right...I prefer that for messages because I find those pointer thingy's annoying...I wish you could just touch the screen and then select the text by sliding your finger...like a mouse.

    "Cut the text" will delete it from wherever you are cutting it from.
