I have an account on Contacts.
I cannot see it anymore and it has all my numbers on it.

If I go to Contacts ...Menu... it's shows the accounts but I don't see this one listed.

If I try to readd it, it says it is already there and won't let me readd it.

Any idea how to fix?

P.S. it's Yahoo.ca I am trying to get working ... yes, I know Yahoo had problems because they were hacked by that Ancaster guy but Yahoo has long fixed the problems.

The only thing about Android I am hating on the Priv is trying to get Yahoo working as well as it does on regular BlackBerry (not Android) phone.

Have you ever sent that contact a text message? Or what about rung them?

If so, check your text message app, and call history. At least they'll show the phone number and text/call history.

See if you can get into contacts from either of those.

Really dumb question, as I'm sure you have done this, but, have you selected, "All Contacts," from the menu? I have seen instances on my phone where contacts weren't visible, until choosing that option. No matter the account I would choose, certain contacts weren't visible. It was odd, but selecting "All," made them visible. I do not know to this day what caused it, but whatever account they were in, wasn't shown. Thankfully my phone no longer exhibits that behavior.

Yes, I have sent them messages on text. I had to go through each one and add them to the gmail as they were not showing up.. couldn't see the name.

When I go to Contacts … Menu (three buttons at the side) .. it shows me all the contacts that are listed such as Local Contacts, BBM, gmail ect. Yahoo no longer shows up.

I wanted to readd the yahoo. When I tried, it says it is already there. So that didn’t help.

Any way to delete and account on Contact (so I can readd) since I can’t see it, to delete it?

You're not going to like this, but you can "disable ' contacts. Settings, apps, contacts. Then, after a few minutes 'enable' it and see if that resolves the issue.

I'm sure you would have checked the settings on the yahoo PC account re sync with phone? (Sometimes email providers change settings without alerting you.)

That's okay, you get that message cos it's the app that came with the device. It's the stock android app.

Alternatively you could install another contacts app? I'm not sure what to recommend though, cos I use the stock app, like you.

When I opened up Calendar, I can see Yahoo as an account. I don't see it on Contact. However, right now, it working.

Have you tried adding a dummy contact to the pc version of contacts and seeing if anything happens on the phone contacts app?

And same for calendar.
