I would really like to see them explode into the security software market and be the leader of the pack for security software solutions.
Everyone is always concerned about the hardware side of Blackberry, but there is also a lot of money to be made on the software end.
Look at Microsoft, they are where they are because they developed the key software the hardware needed to make it a viable product.
Security is a major topic both in the corporate and now in the consumer market and they would have an huge edge on the competition. Just my two cents.
Yes and now decades later Microsoft is just now hitting hardware, and hitting it out of the park with their surface stuff.
Xbox, ehh they literally bought their way into that segment.
However the surface is a great business journal article on how too properly get into hardware.
People where amazed at how well the surface ran, it seemed to be faster than similarly equipped other options... and it was! Why? Because they made a specific build of windows for the surface.
After many moons- if blackberry succeeds at becoming one of the top security firms, they can do a similar approach.
