    Picked up an unlocked PRIV for less than $300.

    Would like to transfer (via content transfer) from BB Classic to this Priv.

    How does one get past the "Checking Connection... This can take a while"?

    Use BlackBerry Device Switch, it's much easier. Hope that helps.
