I tried to plug my Priv into my 2015 Chrysler UConnect system to upload my music into the hard drive. This worked flawlessly with my Z30 which UConnect recognized as a USB, but nothing happens using the Priv. I have tried all the transfer modes available to no avail. Has anyone found a fix for this?

so your car won't play the music off your device? why does it have to be uploaded? it can't connect thru BT and just play the music that way?

It plays fine through BT, but to choose the specific songs I would have to use the phone (BT only plays in shuffle mode) which is against the law here. If the music is loaded onto the HDD, I can navigate through the music on the vehicle infotainment screen.
