The messenger update had a dark mode feature, and when I chose that setting it made the screen blank and I haven't been able to do any texting since then. Does anybody else have this problem? And how do I fix it.

go into settings, go to apps, select the wrongdoer and select clear cache and clear data. it will reset the app and log you out. when done, start app, login and it should be in default settings eq. no dark mode.

Thank you so much, that fixed it and I still have the data. It would've been nice to have the dark feature on the messages, so I hope they get that fixed.
