The Priv does NOT use the micro-hdmi standard. At the moment I forget what the adapter is called.

My Sony TV doesn't have WiFi si I got a WD Live Streaming WDBYMN0000NBK which also supports Miracast ... Works fine.

In another place, have a Sony TV with wifi but not Miracast support... so, bought a cheap EZCast dingle which, plugged into the TVs USB for power & HDMI for the media... free app & boom... Works great ！

The microUSB supports that... look on eBay for a d'ongle that splits to one side for video while the second is a charge port... the cast is power hungry... easy to find, cheap...

Most smart TVs will have Miracast or Wi-Di where you can mirror your phone to the TV, if not, a Chromecast fits the bill.
