But then BlackBerry wouldn't sell enough of them to stay in business.... unless you forgot what Chen said.

So you think that all the leaks from OS's to devices isn't controlled by BlackBerry? That's wrong, everything that gets leaked they knows about

TBH, I'm getting grossed up with the leaks coming out from Priv. I need a leak for their new B10 phone. I'm so done with this Android - BlackBerry hybrid sh*t.

They would sell enough if they loaded some with BB10 and some with Android, they say their a software company, why is that hard for them?

I've worked a lot with software development in mobile phones and maintaining two OS would be very costly. Even if you would only have Android it would take a lot of effort to make that your own meaning BlackBerry Android. BlackBerry wouldn't be able to afford two of them

It will all be material design. Other then the name and function, there will not be much left that represents the BB10 hub.

It's just something we have to get used to.

Are these legit? So the menu button IS at the top of the screen a-la Material Design rather than being at the bottom of the screen where you can reach it with the thumb of the hand you're holding the device with a-la a design that actually makes sense AND looks good a-la BB10. When the screen is slid up you won't even be able to reach it with TWO hands HA! Terrible UX design!

Yet they are. Besides blackberry doesn't make android so their role in maintenance with android is only what they have introduced to android and google does the rest.

But there is no reason for them to continue developing BB10, and they are going to have their hands full developing security software and apps for the Priv on Android.

Yet they are, with 3.3 set for March. BB's new game is about app neutrality so with or with the priv they are still developing security apps for android.

Actually, if the app is properly implemented a swipe from the left screen margin inward will bring in the menu. You can do this anywhere from the bottom. In a properly implemented Android app, I have never actually touched that button on the top. The button is more like information that there is actually a settings drawer on the left of the screen which you can swipe to.

Here's a shot of the PRIV screen showing the Hub minimized in the lower left hand corner from the Carephone Warehouse Video released today.

On my HTC M9 to access that google popup they use for the hub, you just swipe up anywhere from the bottom. I hope it's like that on the priv too and not a hold home button scenario. Some apps like games and video hide the navigation buttons, so having the swipe up would be most useful.
