    Hi all,
An ebay vendor is selling the Keyone/DTEK70 battery as applicable in the Priv. The Keyone/DTEK70 battery appears to have slightly better specs over the original Priv Battery.

    Keyone, DTEK70 battery: BAT-63108-003 3440mAh Replacement For Blackberry Keyone, DTEK70 DK70 (& Priv too?)
    - Capacity 3440mAh & 13.24Wh
    - Nominal Voltage 3.85Vdc
    - Max Charge Voltage 4.40Vdc

Original Priv Battery: BAT-60122-003 3360mAh 3.83V for Blackberry Priv STV-100
    - Capacity 3360mAh & 12.87Wh
    - Nominal Voltage 3.83Vdc
    - Max Charge Voltage 4.40Vdc

Does anyone have experience to know of this is installable/usable in a Priv?
a.) Since the ribbon cable is shaped differently and pin connector is 'clocked 90 degrees' could you describe how the ribbon cable can connect to a Priv?
b.) Are the slightly different specs compatible with the Priv?
c.) If your battery has been installed in a Priv and how well it works or if better than the original?

As Priv owners know, battery life is not very good in general, and since I'm replacing the battery, I'd like to upgrade the battery if possible.
Any insight would be appreciated - thanks,
    DT

Here's an update: I asked these same questions of the ebay vendor and he replied that this battery is not applicable to the Priv. It appears he also adjusted the title of the ebay advertisement to read: "
High Quality 3440mAh BAT-63108-003 battery for BlackBerry KEYone DTEK70 Mercury", ... dropping the Priv and adding the Mercury.

Might want to let seller know, there's no such thing as DTEK70.

Seems like a common thing in China to call it the DTEK70.

Not as common but you can also find Priv stuff by searching "BlackBerry Venice".

Gotcha. Interesting but confusing. Similar to Z20, Q20 and Q30. As long as I can eventually get through AT&T with all the enhanced calling features, especially WiFi calling, I don't care what it's called.
