Something seems to be missing here. If I open an email, click attach, then click file it asks where to open the file from. The SD Card isn't listed as an option. It shows Google Drive, Images, Videos, Audio, Downloads, Internal storage. No where is it listing documents and I can't get to the documents folders I have on my sd card. I've downloaded a file manager form Google Play and can see the documents folders and the files in them fine in the file manager but its not showing them as an option to attach.

    What am I missing here?

Download the ES File Explorer file manager. It will appear on the flyout list along with the others you mention.

Hmmm. Well, it works fine on my Nexus. I'll have to wait until my Priv shows up to test further.

I hope some others chime in on this. This is a huge miss by blackberry if you can't use the SD Card to attach files.

When composing the email, choose attach and select file, there you will have, in the file manager that opens, an option to open from external SD card, if it's not, make sure you have updated BlackBerry Hub to the platest version.

Open Google play and search for BlackBerry Hub to make sure an update is available, while at it check for all BlackBerry apps since they might have an update available too

As workaround open the document and choose share by email.

    This.

It's a typical Android thing. It took me a little while to learn when I switched from my Z30 to the Note 4.
I'm picking up a Priv as soon as possible.

Okay here is a screen shot. Color is that way because I use 'Twilight'. Help matches screen to time of day and remove the blue spectrum.

Just in case the crappie color on the screen capture may make it a deal breaker too.

After selecting Show SD Card, I have to select the menu on the left the "Open From" and then I can see my SD Card.

So glad you mentioned this or I may have forgotten to decrypt my card before I switch. Already made that mistake once.

I am also having the same issue. It is a brand new sd card and I formatted it. I have es file Explorer loaded and also tried the overflow option.

Ironically if I click picture it shows all the pictures on the sd card.
