    On Verizon priv. I can't do email and calls at the same time. Is there a setting or something that will enable this. All my old bb's did this with no problem.

    Make sure you activated advanced calling and you should be fine

    i can be on a call and send texts surf internet at same time without issues.

    Call Verizon tech support. May be a setting on your account.

    I haven't tried the advanced calling yet because it says it uses more data. That worked for you and you are on verizon?

    was there limitations on CDMA networks or was that a long time ago?

    I tried switching it from the global network to CDMA and that didn't work.

    Just activated advanced calling. That fixed it. Thanks guys.
