    Hello Community,

    I have my BlackBerry PRIV for good 2 Days now, but I can't put any schedules in my Calendar. I will always get the Information that the Calendar is not Selected please help.

    I would guess you have restarted but....

    Three restart/reboot methods

    The first method, which should be used 99.9% of the time when you want to reboot your device, is using the Reboot option that appears after pressing the Power key.

    Press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds
    Select Reboot from the menu that is presented

    The second reset method should be used if pressing the Power key does not produce the menu with Power Off and Restart. For example, if an app or game you are using won’t close, use this option to restart your device.

    Press and hold the Power key for 12 seconds

    Third method: Should your device fail to respond, the final reset method is to press and hold the Power key for 32 seconds which is equivalent to removing the battery. This should result in your device booting up successfully.

    If it fails to start, however, verify you are not pressing any other keys such as Volume Up, Mute, or Volume Down while performing any of the reset methods listed above. If you use a case for your device you may want to remove it as it might be pressing a button inadvertently.

    And just for an extra measure, if needed:

    Safe Mode:

    The next step is placing your device into safe mode.

    When used, Safe Mode will disable any third party apps or games you have installed. As a result of this, should your device not exhibit the issue while in Safe Mode it’s safe to assume the issue is specific to an app or game you have installed.

    Press and hold the power key
    Tap and hold Power off when it appears
    When prompted, tap OK to reboot to Safe Mode

    To get out of Safe Mode, press and hold the power key followed by tapping Reboot.

    After testing, should your device not exhibit any issues, the next step is to remove recently installed applications one by one until the issue is resolved.

    I restarted my device of course before asking in the Forum. There is a Email Adress also added but it can't see the one to choose. That's why it's always asking or telling me, no Calendar found.

    Is it also possible to just use the Device Calendar? I can't add any Email, because they are all in Gmail already and I will get the information that it can not be doubled. What to do

    Okay, ton of questions and or comments.

    1) For the email account you added are you sure there's a calendar associated with it? Not all providers have integrated calendars, or you may need to add as a CalDAV account separately.

    2) You can still add the account you've got in Gmail to your Hub and not get double notifications. If you don't need or want to use Gmail simply disable the sync for Gmail in system settings - accounts - Google.

    I'm using Hotmail, Yahoo and gmx none of this Emails is working for Calendar? I never had any problems using them on my BB10 Passport Silver Edition.

    I turned of the Sync but I'm still not able to use any account.

    What version of the calendar do you have installed?

    Go into system settings - accounts - blackberry Hub - click any of your accounts that should have a calendar and tell me if sync toggle is on for Calendar.

    It was all not working.

    Problem Solved!
    I lost already any hope to make my BlackBerry Calendar work. So I downloaded an other Calendar. I added a new schedule there and it BlackBerry Calendar showed me Locale Calendar. So now it's working. But to sync no. At least I can use it now.
