@wiz9 2.2.56 is the latest version (of both the desktop client and PC). Features such as App Mirroring require a Fuse Pro subscription. Both the app and website have more information - if that is not clear please let me know and I will try to update.
@brookie229 Thanks for the feedback! I plan to officially take Fuse out of Beta shortly so that it will be much easier to find it in the Google Play Store. I will also definitely make it easier to identify the current version of both in the next update!

wait... i think I found the issue. To see the other options like the HOME button and app mirroring, do I have to have PRO version?

Is there a video demo that I can see the PRO in action?

Oh, you may be right. Originally (before the Pro version) the HOME button was available and I had access to all functions except the touchpad/keyboard remote functions on the phone. Maybe @Bart Brewinski can clear this up.

The touchpad/keyboard remote functions have always required a Fuse Pro subscription. App Mirroring was originally released to everyone while it was being built (I did mention this) however, it is now complete and requires a Fuse Pro subscription (this is also explained on the website)

Fuse Pro does not need any special version, you just need to subscribe via the app. Everyone has access to a 1 month trial. There is no video right now (I only have so much time), but I can send screenshots to anyone that has questions. Feel free to reach out to me for any more information!

Interesting application and I wish it can replace the Blend in future and to continue further where the Blend has stopped.
So far, the biggest challenge for me is to open https://www.tozdev.com. Is it just me or the site is down often? I tried via Firefox and IE11, the latest versions.

@dmlis I have not seen the site go down and everything looks good on my end. Please send an email to [email protected] with the error message you may be seeing.

There was no error message, just the site refused to open. Image of "turning wheel" ...

I have disabled real time protection in Avira antivirus and Tozdev.com became available for me in IE11 so I could download updated Windows client.
    No success with Firefox though.
Free version of Fuse works fine with my Samsung Xcover 4 and desktop with Win 8.1. Except "scan" function, I have to enter IP manually.

I did also push out a quick fix for the website - I noticed it was having issues loading up in IE11. I've tested it out with the latest version of FireFox and I don't have any issues loading it up. It might just be something to do with your AntiVirus?

The scan feature can sometimes break based on your network/antivirus configuration (Which is why I put in a manual option!). I plan to improve this in a future version. Glad to see you were able to get it working however!

    Hi All,

I'd like to thank everyone for their continued support and willingness to test Fuse for Android during its beta phase. I truly appreciate all of the feedback - both good and bad. I'm currently happy with the feature set and its stability, so today I'm happy to announce that Fuse for Android is officially out of beta! Fear not however, I still have many plans to improve and grow the available features so there will always be a place for the Fuse beta program.

I encourage (and will greatly appreciate) if you share Fuse for Android with your family, friends, or even coworkers through your social media channels. The app has a "Share Fuse" option in the menu - or you can directly link to the website at https://www.tozdev.com/fuse. It would also greatly help if you could leave a review on the Google Play Store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nc.androidfuse. You can also check out the ToZDev Facebook page (and hopefully share the release posting!) at https://www.facebook.com/ToZdev/

At this time some of you may want to leave the beta program and stick to stable builds only. Instructions are provided at https://play.google.com/apps/testing...nc.androidfuse on how to do so.

    Cheers!

    Hi All!

I hope everyone has been enjoying the current version of Fuse. I just clicked the release button on the first Beta (Since official release). There's not too much in terms of new functionality here, I was just hoping to clean up the UI a bit more and improve stability:

    Added / Changed
    • Contact display pictures are now shown in the contact and SMS list
    • The PC client will now match your current Windows accent color (Works best with Windows 10)
    • Emojis will be show large for emoji-only messages (Kinda makes it look like a sticker)
    • Improved the layout of the SMS screen (I noticed a lot of things getting squished, so I fixed those up)
    • Added current version display (This is for you @brookie229 !)
    • Removed the Receive MMS permission (Google can be a big pain, I haven't actually been using it, but I was planning to, I'll have to re-add it in the future)

    Fixed:
    • Sending many messages quickly would break the SMS functionality (Fuse wouldn't be able to tell what you sent vs received)
    • The PC client cannot be resized from the top
    • The PC client would minimize to tray before being connected (This is more of just an annoyance, and I don't want users to think Fuse 'disappeared' before they ever got to use it).

The Fuse Beta PC client can be downloaded at https://www.tozdev.com/assets/Fuse/F...stall-Beta.exe

If you have any issues with this update let me know either here or (preferably) via email [email protected].

    Happy Holidays!

Just downloaded version 2.2.57 of the app on Google Play but the Windows Client on your website is still 2.2.56. I'm not able to connect as it says "Fuse is out of date and cannot connect to this android device". We must use a new Window client, no?

That's correct - a new Windows Client is needed:

Still 2.2.56 on your web page? May I suggest also putting the version # on your Windows Client install file to coincide with the android app version in Google Play. I just downloaded and installed the Windows Client and it is a no go.

This link: https://www.tozdev.com/fuse?beta=true Should automatically start the beta download once you navigate to the page (You do not need to hit the download button). Please double check if your browser blocks it (Chrome does so sometimes). However (I just tried this out) https://www.tozdev.com/assets/Fuse/F...stall-Beta.exe should work as well.

If you right click on the installer and go to properties > details you'll see the version number.

I'm using the latest Firefox and it also blocks your first (webpage) link. It lets me download 2.2.56. Just downloaded from your 2nd link fine. Thanks!

    Hi Everyone,

I'm releasing a pretty minor (beta) update to Fuse v2.2.58:
    • [Pro] Fuse will now attempt to re-connect to your device
    • Improved device scanning
    • The call logs page will now show contact photos
    • Fixed a bug on the PC client which prevented loading & connecting to the Fuse app (This is the main bug I'm trying to fix - please let me know if it helps!!)
    • Fixed a bug where the Windows 10 accent colour would not apply until the client is restarted

I know some folks had trouble with the last update, please know if you are using the beta, you will need to download an updated client from:
    https://www.tozdev.com/assets/Fuse/F...stall-Beta.exe

    Enjoy!

Thanks - seems to work just fine. The rescan works nicely now and finds my device with ease. Excellent work!

-- no problem with loading and connecting from the PC client so far, anyway.

Still on BB10 primarily because I have come to rely on Blend and this looks to be a good alternative for when I finally have to give up the Passport. Any plans to integrate email into the app ???

At this time there is no "easy" way to integrate email - this is a limitation of Android. However, with a Fuse Pro subscription you can launch Hub on your desktop! I suggest trying the trial and seeing if it works for you.

Yes! You're able to type, and click on anything that you'd be able to in the app. We offer the trial so that users can test it out beforehand.

I shall give it a try when my Passport dies, sounds as thogh it could work well for me as a Blend replacement
