Jessie(or Jesse, not confirmed yet) Shen from China Telecom(CHINA TELECOM) is the one responsible for leaking the Venice on Taobao. I'm trying to confirm details but this is what I'm being told by someone, no idea if this is true or not but the specific info makes me wonder if these are legitimate. Plot thickens... I'm digging into this as much as I can!

I'm going to say this: BB Classic revealed June 2014, released December 2014(6mths later), just like any of their older devices, they have a huge gap between reveal/release. If this doesn't get revealed this month, I highly doubt we'll see a Nov release(prob Dec if not 2016)...

Is this phone going to be released with every band for all carriers? I'd want to know if it was compatible with my carrier. And what about color options? I want a blue one.

There is no way this is legit because BlackBerry doesn't have the hardware even ready for production yet. Probably doesn't have the software ready either.

You guys ordering may as well be sending your money to the guy in Nigeria.

But hell if I was higher than hell and rich to boot I'd probably be ordering one too. But it would have to be some really great drugs.

Been watching that. It dropped to 199 after you said you got yours then about 10 mins or so later it dropped to 198.. It'll drop to 197 soon enough, wouldn't be surprised if this was gone in 48hrs as I'd imagine this is relatively recent of a post on taobao.

But why release for specific carriers now?

If you want it blue, buy a spraycan!
You will probably find it at the same site, lol!

OMG! This thread made my day! Was travelling through asia for the past two months and the amount of fake iphones on sale is staggering. They look and feel real, even have a lightning connector but all run on android with a theme to model iOS. Dirt cheap at about $100 but definitely not real.

At best this is what these two fools will be receiving for their order - a fake blackberry. Personally I don't think anything will be coming through the post. It's a scam!
