I will buy one as soon as they get the device to market and I hope it's more sooner then later!! I sure hope they don't drag their feet on this one like the original release of OS10 and the z10.
I don't know if I'll get it on day 1, but I will seriously think about it for 2016. I'll wait for the reviews and see the official size compared to the Z30.

I hope BlackBerry introduces it in all the color variants, and not one this month and another color a few months later and then maybe a red one even later in 2016. BlackBerry needs to get the black, white, red and even a gold one out from day 1.

Without a dedicated call/end button, I hope they introduce a slide to answer/end calls. Absolutely can't stand having to look at the damn screen to swipe to answer.

I want it....in WHITE!!!! Always wanted a torch. Usually ended up with the Bold type Blackberry. I have been looking at the Passport. Once this slider has 3GB or 4GB RAM, I will get it over the Passport. If not, will be getting the Passport Silver edition.

    damn it looks thick
Oh, you missed the OPTION - you can get it thinner either without a battery or without a keyboard! Kind of like McDonalds or is it BurgerKing - have it your way! Without battery comes with a longer extension cord.

Gonna pass. Not sure if this is going to be a hit or not. I tend to think not. It is way too clunky by today's standards. Would have been a hit if it had premium specs and was an all touch. Oh well.

I just hope that this device will offer us the choice between BlackBerry 10 and android
Cause if it is android only, it is a definitive no for me
But if we can choose BB 10, I will take it.
I love the concept of the keyboard and large screen

Great idea in the picture! Switch to Droid to get some BS done and then switch back to BB10 afterwards. Awesome!

Omg yes!!! Amazing find!! Im getting this phone no matter what. It looks awesome to see a blackberry phone running android o.s!! Sure it wont ever be as good as bb10.3.2 but still it will be awesome cause its still pretty much a blackberry and im ALSO hoping they keep updating the o.s10 so poor devs dont have to start developing for android ugh I like BlackBerry apps much better than bug ridden apk files lol.

Looks absolutely beautiful (though premium products would've been better) but I won't be buying it because I hate android. And even if you could choose to change os to bb10, I can't trust that the company will continue to support it since the Android version will sell better.

I'll be getting the iPhone 6S instead

Why not just get this, use it for the time it exists, and then go for the iPhone 7? People talk about this like if it's a home purchase decision ('it's nice,.. but I heard they're going to be building a Walmart two blocks down next year').

It won't be an 'introduction' because that was a feature that the old Torch had and, yes, it was awesome. Sliding the phone closed to hang up a call was a satisfying feeling.

Kinda sad that the backside doesn't have the BlackBerry logo. Or we just can't see it from the photos?

But I'm even sadder for the fact that it's not running BlackBerry 10. Nothing against android though, but I absolutely love the BlackBerry 10 experience.

Just because BlackBerry did something correctly in the past doesn't mean they'll repeat it in the future. Take the Q10 and Classic rehash, for example. Or all the features missing from BB10 when it was first released.

Life can be more fun when you keep your mind juvenile. I know serious matters are at stake here though. Fear not, here is a shot of the Slider running BB10: (!!!)
