I will buy one as soon as they get the device to market and I hope it's more sooner then later!! I sure hope they don't drag their feet on this one like the original release of OS10 and the z10.

I loved the Torch, let's hope this is as durable and lasts as long as that tank did.

Nope, looks totally different on my samsung with lollipop.
The active frames have the closing bar on top instead of the bottom here

Weird how the android text message icon has a spark, yet the BlackBerry Hub icon has none.

Gotta say it looks pretty sweet. The back with the glass weave (look?) and the serious-looking camera looks slick.

Still going to be one of those that people are going to want to try 'in person' before pulling the trigger.

Hard to really tell from the pics, but... doesn't look like they are actually using the curved edges of the 'screen' to display anything. Seems like it's just an effect caused by some of the regular flat screen transmitting through the curving front glass when look at angle.

You cannot have a slider mechanism and a big battery and have a thin device.

I'm thinking the rounded edges are to make the device appear to be thinner. I prefer rectilinear design.

Yeah that's been my theory all along, I was just hoping they actually bought the curved display from Samsung.

Maybe at first the screen was going to be curved, but the deal fell through with Sammy and they made a bunch of flat screen prototypes we see here.

Or they are just that, prototypes and the real deal will have a curved screen.

How would a case work for it? Did the Torch have cases? Seemed to me like everyone that had that thing was just throwing it around with nothing on it...

For those who've used android.. Is this regular android lollipop multitasking or BlackBerry active frames?
Probably neither. It looks like they may have "skinned" android with their own task switcher, similar to what HTC did.

This is a custom Task Switcher, the regular one looks like the PlayBook's cards for anyone who needs to know.
