Does anyone know if we (Prim users) can use BlackBerry Protect? Or are we resigned to aquire something from The Play Store?

Device Protection is enabled automatically when you set a screen lock and link the device to your Google account.

But it's Google device protection, not BlackBerry Protect where you log onto the BlackBerry site to view your phones status.... right?

Right. But it works the same. You can use Android Device Manager to remotely ring, lock, or erase the device if it's signed in to a Google Account.

Do you need to lock the screen to register the device?
