I ordered Blackberry Priv online and expecting delivery tommorow after long delays.
Does this mobile really that much worth.? Before going to BB Priv, i considered LG V20.
Should i go to Priv or simply skipping the delivery and go to LG V20.?

Don’t get me wrong. Priv was a good phone, but no chance of security updates or os update, don’t waste your time. I moved on to Apple after being burned twice. (Bb10 and priv)

Curious, does the Priv perform better than the Dtek50?

The V20 has no documented issues with bootlooping . If you can find a link please post it. That was pre V20. I have a V20 and a Priv. If you don't need physical keyboard, the V20 is the superior phone. Better cameras, fingerprint scanner, screen display comparable, better battery, removable battery, IR blaster, 820 cpu on V20, Priv has the 808 cpu which gets hot and is not as efficient.

Also, the V20 is on track to get Android O and is on N already. I have also been getting quarterly security updates on V20. I found mine brand new unlocked for $269.00 usd last year

LG replaced the board. Maybe not as widespread but certainly exist if you look.

On top of that, V20 was part of the class action. If there weren't reported cases, they wouldn't approve it.

I stand corrected... thanks for the link. I am lucky not to have experienced that on my V20. I could not find a topic on Android central about v20 bootlooping prior to my purchase because I heard it was an issue on G4

Well... I also had a G4 for a few weeks while my Priv was being service quite a while back, and on top of that helped someone get a G4 a few months ago and she's very happy with it still, more so than her POS Samsung S5 Neo.

    So there's that.

Yeah, grabbed V20 cheap because BlackBerry and BlackBerry Mobile did not update my Priv and 60 to N. I switched between all phones because I like BlackBerry software.

I have both and if you really don't care about the kb, get V20. V20 will get oreo and hifi dac is worth it if you enjoy music. V20 is probably the last smartphone with removable battery too. PRIV is all KB.

Do not buy a BlackBerry Priv in 2018. Go for the LG V20 which is superior to it in nearly everything.
