I now own z3 with my money..
Time to get the real deal..
    Will be prepared for it..
I am sure the price of this phone is going to be a big joke..

Has anyone confirmed if we can use the phone without using the slide out keyboard? If this would be true then I would mind buying it for purely touch phone.

I am sure there will option in the setting for it.. or you can just download the Google key board app from the app store.. it's free..
Don't worry about it.. just get it..

I can use my Classic as a touchscreen until I need to type. Would make sense to have same setup on the Priv.

So you want to take the 5.5 inch screen slab, and slide out the keyboard when someone calls to talk on it? So it just hangs out there? I never thought of that as something that could happen with this device, but if it's there I don't think I'll be using it. I'll add that to the device name in the list of things that might exist that I won't acknowledge.

If you like having to look for the slide to answer button, that's fine. I prefer speed of use and not touching the screen.

Phone rings, I see the contact photo/name, I slide to answer. Slide closed when done and you don't even have to look at the device again. Why is this a bad thing?

I never said it was a bad thing, just not a feature I had thought of or would want to use if it was there. Some people wouldn't want android on BlackBerry hardware, and some don't mind seeing it. To each their own. If that feature exists and you want to use it go for it, it ultimately means one more person supporting the hardware.

A good sign for the Priv is that people mention BlackBerry in the Silent Circle phone review http://www.cnet.com/products/blackphone-2/
They say the Silent Circle is the most Android. Hopefully the Priv takes the title from it.
