Crazy isn't it. I knew this will happen. You should never commit to knowing any definitive information about BlackBerry. They never meet any deadline or goal, ever. No excuses for the backlash here though. Pure nastiness for no reason at all.

This is so true, for all we know real people at BlackBerry really believed this but as per usual BlackBerry couldn't release anything on time.

Do I feel sorry for BlackBerry having to take the blame for their real incompetence and then on top of that possible false rumors that make them seem worse? No.

I just used one of those online support agent chat things, and the agent said there's nothing official, but launching by November and being announced a couple weeks before that. I'm going with re/code
