lol this is what rumors do.. Both Classic and Passport events were announced. At the moment, nothing is announced by BlackBerry, so what are you guys waiting for?

I'm by no means an insider, but when someone says that there will be an announcement on a given day, what makes us all assume it's a device announcement? What if BB had plans to out some other type of announcement like an affiliation, or side project, or something?

Again, I don't know, and I'm not saying anything actually would be announced today, but why are we so quick to dismiss?

It's a good platform. You won't be disappointed, but do be prepared for some "why the $&#@ can't I do X" moments. iOS has its share of quirks, most notably file management and email sucks. Remember to turn on iOS file management via iCloud Drive in the iCloud settings on the phone. By default you don't see the icon for the iCloud Drive. Also, to add an attachment to an email in the default client you have to press and hold in an email. That will pop up an option to add an attachment. Also, you can't be on a BlackBerry plan if you want to get visual voicemail (you have to be on an iPhone plan), as well as MMS. There are lots of other considerations, but you'll find out over time.

By the way, I have three iPhone 6S Plus devices on order as well, keeping one and selling two. I'm still going to pick up the Venice once it is released. Between it, the 6S Plus, and the Passport, I have every situation covered.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I know it won't be as good as Bb10 on the OS side of things, will miss the hub and efficiency of navigation, though I am looking forward to not having to hope the next Android app update throws in Google Play Services making the app not usable. I just don't have any interest in Android. I carry one phone, and for the US, iPhone is tier 1 on my transition list.
