At the request of a few who asked, Here is my comparison between the BlackBerry Priv and the iPhone 6S. Loser gets thrown to the ground.
Also this video should be safe for work. Outside of an S Bomb somewhere in there its all good.

This was a fun comparison and I look forward to comparing the BlackBerry Priv to the Note 5 and Nexus 6P.
Also a Passport vs Priv is coming soon.

Let me know what you think, And any questions on the Priv here and Ill do my best to answer them.
Also what other devices would you like to see the Priv go up against.

Yea, and like you said, I too hope BB will find a way to improve the quality of the 4k video, as it really sucks as seen in that particular vid of yours!!!!
If it remains that way, I can see why some folks said that 4k is a gimmick and 1080p will be the better option to shoot stuff.

About low light photographs, which one did a better job in your opinion?
@6.26 you talked about the Passport; or did you perhaps meant to say Priv?
And what about low light video shooting?
Always nice to know for the bedroom photographers among us.

Not really much of a comparison, just thoughts on why you think one is better over the other. I'd compare the Priv with the 6S Plus because they are both phablets. Just my opinion.

I use CTIA and AWA which actually classified phablets as a category in 2014
Mobile world Congress and GSM also classify phablets as 5.5 to 6.4

I just go by the cited authorities not by fan created categories etc.
But it doesn't matter either way.
The priv as the video shows is closer in size to the 6s than the 6s plus.

If you have a citing authority for the phablet statement I'd love to check it out

Can I ask you how do you compare the headphone jacks? I've read the Priv's one isn't that loud, whereas Apple has traditionally a very good one?

(I am currently using an iPhone 6 and I confirm that the headphone jack is better than the ones in the previous Blackberry 10 devices).

When the Priv is open yes it's comparable to the 6s Plus, But most of the time it will be closed.
But good point.
I plan on comparing it to the 6s plus, note 5 etc

5" inch phones are normal. its no longer a phablet size.

Also, why not do the review inside a building? I can barely see the screen on both phones.

Nice review. I don't like iphone and I own a Priv (wife does anyway) but for balance I think the front camera should be included.

Biased review in my opinion. The Priv should have been compared to the 6s+ first off. I now own a 6s and 6s+ and used to own and use daily many BB10 devices until BlackBerry sold us out. I played around with the Priv at an AT&T store. The build quality of the iPhones are light years ahead of the Priv. Also, the android version of the Priv should have been Marshmallow not Lollipop. The Priv is a privacy leaking device right out of the box and as an android device, it is worse than Apple hands down.
I have played around with many android devices for many years now and would never use one as a daily driver. I never thought I would use or even like an Apple device but I am now quite happy with my iPhones and again feel this video is biased to android.
The Priv crashes, over heats, has poor reception a cramped keyboard, poor build quality and is very unstable overall. BlackBerry needed to work on the Priv for a longer time before release. I am actually embarrassed that BlackBerry feels this phone is private. Not by a long shot. DTEK does nothing but sit there and tell you after the fact that your privacy is being compromised but does nothing about it. What a joke people and you all need to wake up to that fact. BlackBerry has sold your privacy down the drain to Google and whatever other apps that suck up your privacy.
