I am a new Blackberry user and have just acquired the Priv. My dilemma is that every number I call ends up in my speed dial list. I discovered that I can delete them individually but would prefer that they do not show there in the first place. I wish to be in control and decide what numbers I would like in my speed dial list. I would like to know how to prevent every called number to automatically end up there.

I have made several pocket calls from these, not always to people I tend to call often. I would like to know you delete them, as well.

It is recent calls but if you click the 3 dots and then the hollow star it will be kept on the top of the list. And then you can move them about

I see that I am not the only one with the annoying auto add to Speed Dial issue.

Best thing that I've found is to clear all entries by clicking the 3 dots (next to microphone icon) and selecting Clear frequents.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but strangely I'm making good use of it!
Sorry you found it annoying. I'll be back when it does become a pain for me as well lol

I am here ALSO looking for an answer to this. There is no way to just have a speed dial list that doesn't change???? One where I set the contacts?

I guess you might look for a different Phone or Dialer app????

This is the same phone/app dialer as the one on the Google phones so my guess is it is not up to Blackberry to modify.
