How do i know if quick charging is enabled? I've tried connecting the priv to a samsung quick charger but it seems to be charging at the same speed as the blackberry charger that came with it. When i connect it to either chargers, there's nothing indicating whether it's quick charging or normal charging. Any idea if the model number makes a difference? I am using a priv from rogers.

wireless charging and quick charge are two different things.

yea quick charging is what i am asking about, look at how long it takes to charge with the charger that came with the phone. with my tronsmart car quick charger, it took less than a min from 24-26%..

Odd it should work out of the box with any Qualcomm 2.0 quick charger - is that what you guys are trying

Yesterday when I was charging my phone coincidentally at 35% as well and I used the charging cable that came with the blackberry it said less than that charge time. It was 1 hr and 20 something mins....not sure why your's is saying 3 hours. I'm going to check my settings

It appears you need to buy a Qualcomm quick charger. The charger that comes with is a standard wall charging unit, it dies not quick charge.

Here's what I'm using, and quick charge doesn't seem to be working. Maybe it's the USB cable. I am using the BlackBerry one.

It's very odd how the Samsung quick charger for the note 5 doesn't quick charge the Priv. I also have an aukey portable charger that has quick charge 2.0, quick charges my note 5 but doesn't ever charge the Priv at all, not even charing at normal speed. Yet my tronsmart car charger with quick-change 2.0 charges it from 24-26 percent in less than a minute. I am so confused

I ordered one from shopbb to and have seen you posting on all these other posts too lol, i can't believe blackberry and their plans man, you offer people pre-order but it serves no purpose, email us saying they will ship it out on Friday and will send us tracking number but never did. I have also called the shopbb department and they said that it will take one day to ship and will arrive on Tuesday for people in the US, and will take 5 days or more for people in Canada... Wtf? I wonder why, carriers receive them on the 5 or 6th and us loyal BlackBerry customers pre order 2 weeks ahead and still have to wait for another week or two for the phone. And they said they wanna sell 5 million phones or 3 million more to reach their target.. Seriously, it is not gonna help increase sales if not decrease. Even worse in Canada is that you can't buy the phone outright without going thru shopbb, ncix or carriers.
