Passport was launched within a week of usa launch in india.
BlackBerry priv has been brought in india on 14 oct according to customs data 4 units were imported for evaluation and testing purposes for price of. 50635 rs.. so I am hoping for second week release of priv but as diwali will be over at that time and also skeptical about the launch price.. lets see what happens to BlackBerry in india and not to forget their horrendous CS here in india.

It's 16 November for India

Yes. I am aware of 4 units of Priv to Blackberry India forum but missing Diwali will be major loss for Blackberry. Ofcourse, blackberry support has been very big problem in India since last 2 years.
Don't know, but most pre-order are registered from European Countries

I have experienced their customer service with my passport within a week of buying my passport. It started rebooting itself and they couldn't figure out whats the problem and gave me back after one month as it was along with one new problem of screen lifting which wasn't there and again took one more month for both the issues to get it right.. so basically their CS sucks big time.

I too had experienced with my Z30. It took more than 3 months for service centre for replacement and that too after lot of mails and postings etc with blackberry officials.
I too am waiting for the Priv release.
First bought a Z10, second hand for 28K ( when it was around 3 months' old in India).
Then bought a Passport from Amazon.
Now waiting for Priv... I suspect it would cost upwards of 50K.
If so, then, will wait for the prices to crash as has happened with every BlackBerry phone.

Whether bb will continue with same perception or not, this is big question. Launch price use to be very high and then gets slashed.
