"smartslide" isn't that what the Passport was already doing with its keyboard? Or was there already a "marketing term" for it? Regardless, nobody really knew the Passport existed (Verizon surely didn't) so this capacitive KB would be a good marketing gimmick.

I think the presentation could have been a little more smooth instead of the changing pictures, show more of the device considering that the device has been announced.

Just viewed the link. It really does seem like BlackBerry is turning into Android. They giving more props to this device than to any other BlackBerry10 device . They say we gonna look at BlackBerry different forever. Oh, at least they got that part right cause from this point on, John Chen has bowed to the Android bot claiming Android. Well I'm gonna be looking at BlackBerry (the future BlackBerry ) as ****. Gonna miss BlackBerry 10.

I'm not sure why so many people are still saying this is the end of bb10 after Chen talked about the next version scheduled for release in March. I applaud BlackBerry for broadening their horizons with the Priv to give their existing customers more options, and hopefully attract a whole lot of new customers too.

The next BB10 update is planned for March 2016 with10.3.3.
One major (and global) OS update per year is okay for me.
