[INFO]Don't get burned by Factory Reset Protection, read this before installing!!!

Using Factory Reset Protection (FRP) on the BlackBerry device powered by Android[/INFO]

Don't install an older OS on top of a newer one, you have a very high chance of bricking your phone. If you need an autoloader newer than what's here, you'd have to contact BlackBerry support.

BB Knowledge Base article: How to reload the BlackBerry powered by Android OS on the smartphone

So, BlackBerry have finally decided to put out autoloaders for the Priv; factory images, plus a fastboot executable and the necessary .bat/.sh files to load the images. If your device gets bricked, or if your update schedule is thrown off, or whatever.

Instructions are in the Knowledge Base article above, if you need them. Be warned, it will wipe your stuff.

    Available autoloaders on BlackBerry's site:

    MARSHMALLOW
    AT&T STV100-1
    AAQ289 (October 2017 update + KRACK)

    T-MOBILE USA STV100-1
    AAW068 (October 2017 update + KRACK + Spectre)

    VERIZON STV100-2
    AAV985 (October 2017 update + KRACK + Spectre)

    SOUTH KOREA STV100-3 (POINTER MODE!)
    AAV985 (October 2017 update + KRACK + Spectre)

    REST OF THE PLANET
    AAW068 (October 2017 update + KRACK + Spectre)

    BB's list

Not until it comes with Marshmallow. I hate learning things twice!

This is awesome! Will definitely autoload marshmallow when it comes. I feel that my priv needs a good wipe and reload.

I'm curious, but not willing or have a reason to try...

I wonder if it still works if you delete these two lines from the flashall.bat?
    %BIN%\fastboot.exe oem securewipe
    %BIN%\%FASTBOOT% flash userdata %IMG%\userdata.img

Maybe it'll let you reflash without wiping everything before attempting a complete wipe and reset.

    Try.
If you want to brick your device.

I think will not connect to load this. It is impossible!

I'm wondering if I can just run the radio command and flash the radio only, I need to reset that bloody USA Band thing before I fly next week. Although wiping it clean and performing a DR test might not be a bad idea, maybe I can get that unicorn-like 7 hour SOT some are reporting.

You can try extract file named "NON-HLOS.bin" from autoloader.

    and flash it with,

    fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin

please report back if it's working. thanks

I think I'm just going to run the whole thing. Problem is I don't even know if it'll "fix" the problem, or if I even have the problem to start with, since my phone is working fine with Canadian networks right now, and I'm not going to build an LTE Band 3 network here to test it out.

No, and if you remove the checks to try to force the unbranded version on your device you WILL brick it.

Going in for the wipe to rectify my stupid mistake.

    Code:
"It may take 5 to 15 minutes to securely wipe the device"
    < waiting for device >
All I see now is a flashing green light, still waiting. Longest 15 min ever.

Thats mean the device not connected yet. Did you install the driver?

    http://forums.crackberry.com/ask-que...ws-xp-1053418/

After that, try "fastboot devices" it will show your devices an if it's connected. If not try solving this issue first.

No it's done. It literally was doing a secure wipe I think. Restoring apps now and waiting to upgrade back to AAE017.
