My TV is Chenned!
"Pieces of torn-up newspaper" is all the Priv you ever need.

The artwork for the Priv is beyond a joke, looks like something we did in high school, year
10 for a school project. Seriously, it's like someone created it using paint + some generic Microsoft font.
How can it have been approved?. It's almost like BlackBerry are doing everything to make this device into a joke. Firstly naming it "Priv", then this crap artwork.
Who did they hire to do the design work?, or did some intern to it for free?
I am truly embarrassed for them.
In contrast I thought the artwork for the previous BB10 devices was great. The same with the enterprise / EMM solutions.
I'm pretty sure that the grade 10/10th grader stuff we are seeing emerge from BB is just tongue in cheek and that soon we will be experiencing numerous OMG moments as the power and beauty of a stunning advertising torrent accompanies the "official" launch of this multi multi million dollar project (or at least, I hope so)
Crap Microsoft Paint style artwork, circa 90's style = Tongue in cheek?
Not sure about that, it seems cost cutting / lazy, and highly embarrassing that it's even on their website.
Here's something stupidly quick I did.

Its still better than that rubbish on their website
awesome!
The font looks like Orator, a very interesting choice. This phone is going to be the IBM selectric of smartphones !! Iconic!! It's just too bad BlackBerry doesn't have a mastermind type front man. Chen might be smart, but he's pure measurement.
Anyway, I understand why BlackBerry keeps winning industrial design awards. These guys are light years ahead, but pay respect to the past. Like Leica digital cameras and how they are an evolution of existing perfection and respect for the process. BlackBerry has always been about getting work done and not about having a cool gadget.
And for me I think the graphic communication has been well thought out.

saw this in another thread and felt it needed to be here as well!!
Wait, it runs android isn't? what privacy it's going to protect?
Just where are bunch of people who always say "google mining your privacy"?
That is some rough fontwork. If you didn't get cutesy and chose a nice typeface, this could be better than BlackBerry's current graphic design.
Honestly, at this point I have to applaud BlackBerry. At least they have a vision for their marketing (although it may be misguided and poorly executed, it's not as generic as what I've seen in this thread).
