Still find it hard to believe how disgusting planned obsolescence is, the Classic isn't even out for a full year and it's already showing age. Back then everything can make it through their 3 year lifecycle at least and probably a year or two more. But I guess that's how it is with razor thin margins.

As mentioned, most likely Battery Saving Mode automatically turning on. Also, if you have Blend on, that can double hurt performance.

How long is the FALL 2015 code good for?

Getting a sync pod, need to decide on a case. I like these things for setting on a night stand, as they are easier than a cable when you are fumbling in the dark.

I love naked, but this thing will be fragile.... In fact I am considering Telus's $130 Device Care for it, then for the cost of a case (on top of the $130) they will fix the damage.
Flip Case is cool, but offers no corner protection. It is always a drop on the corner that messes my devices. They always seem a little old-mannish to me.

The slider hard shells may offer the corner protection, but they bulk up the device, and hide a lot of it's aesthetics...

I have a $50 otter box, and a $40 BB pouch for my Z30 both collecting dust, because of the bulk. The $5 bumper for the phone is perfect. Unfortunately, no way to put a bumper on a slider (AFAIK).

I like the Tan Pouch. I like how pouches sleep the device. But they are kind of annoying when you want to pop the device out of your pocket quickly and check a notification. Does anyone know if this tan pouch is dead cow, or petroleum product? Sena likely won't make a pouch for it, which is too bad, as they use nice leather, and are thinner than the official ones. I'll likely go with this one

Silly thought, I guess the holster won`t be big enough for the Priv and a hard shell case...

I`m not sure which case...I like the idea of the hard shell, but I still like my holster. *sigh*

Don't give up hope. When I picked up my Passport & hard shell, I thought the same. Lo and behold, CB put out the SPE (Smartphone Experts) holster, which accomodates the Passport in the hardshell just fine. Hopefully, the same happens for the Priv.

I didn't see a listing for the - "BlackBerry Priv snap in half protector because Android is bizzaro safety kit". I suspect they'll release that early on and target old BB10 users.

Screen protectors for flat screens always have the corners lift, and make it look like sh*t. I can only imaging how poorly they will adhere to a curved screen.

I actually find bumpers to work the best, as you can set the device face down and not worry about the screen. My 2y/o Z30's screen looks darn near mint, and I don't baby it. But I don't think a bumper is possible on a slider... unless some company gets creative, which won't happen unless this thing sells well.

EDIT: I have not even got a shipping notification.
