FYI, BlackBerry hires a company named CatchWord branding company to come up with some of their product names. They are responsible for the alphanumeric system of naming the Z10 and Q10. Also BlackBerry Active Frames and BlackBerry Natural Sound.

Apparently a lot of Fortune 500 companies use them as well. They also created Starbucks Refreshers, FitBit Force, Surge and Charge, Chipotle Sofritas, Adobe Air, and Corning Willow Glass just to name a few.

Maybe this will help calm some of the hate towards the Priv name. Priv SE does sound pretty sweet tho!

Its all speculation up to this point, I sure hope those folks up there in Waterloo use that space between their ears to come up with a name that will attract the consumer back to the brand? Hopefully we will hear the announcement and official launch date shortly and they don't drag their feet getting the device to market?

Fwi my friends still ask me when they see my Q10 if that is the "new" BlackBerry.
