Well yes, but the way it was spun by the consultant probably went along the lines of "Mistah Chen, I have studied this at $1000 per hour and the name you want is the Priv". Chen: "..." Consultant: "The Priv because it is Privy to all your top-secrets". Chen: "Ah so! I love it"

Then the consultant flew to the UK business class so he could use the UK version of the toilet and sing a songio from his ****.

If you have connections still at BlackBerry you have to tell them this is a terrible name . There is no way they tested this name with the public before going with it.

If I was the slider, I would shoot myself if Priv is the real name. I'd put the gun right on my up/down volume keys, pull the trigger and blow my plastic bits all over. I'm just dumbfounded. What a terrible name. People will hide the slider around other people just so they won't have to say it's name. It will become the Name that shall not be spoken.
