Just saw this was added to Amazon:

BlackBerry ACC62177001 Qualcomm Rapid Travel Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019PNXX1A...UvbUpU12442040

The Priv should have shipped with this charger. $33 is pretty steep when you can buy an Aukey for $9 and it works perfectly fine.

    Amperage with QuickCharge is irrelevant.

Which would net them more money? Sell the phone at $699 with a standard charger, then sell you a charger at $33, or sell you a phone $699 including the said $33 charger?

This depends on how you look at it. Shipping without the quick charger my slightly increase net profit on device sales and they may sell a few Chargers.

But at this point they need every bell and whistle to bring in new customers. Also, something like this is aggravating to the die hard BlackBerry fans out there.

And when the loyalists start jumping ship...
