So just yesterday, and I'm pretty sure that it's the Launcher that's the issue, my Priv started locking up to the point where just the ambient display will come up but it requires a long power button hold reboot. I uninstalled the BlackBerry Launcher updates, rebooted, cleared out all of the data, reinstalled the updates and still seem to have the freezups. I also have Nova launcher and have been resisting switching over to it, but I have and the freezing seems to have stopped ... any other ideas? I really love the BB launcher but on my work phone I can't really babysit freezes at this time.

EDIT: Renamed the thread because it was not a Launcher Problem. Removing the Facebook app makes this feel like a brand new phone. Crazy. (Well, tried to edit the title, hopefully an Admin will)

If you uninstalled and then reloaded the Launcher....

If you use NOVA does it work fine? What if you uninstall NOVA?

Only solution I can think of is a Factory Reset...

Yeah, Factory Reset was my next step, might wait for another Launcher update and deal with Nova first.

Well, with Nova it goes longer without locking up ... might need to factory reset it tonight.

New data point ... I had left my WiFi off last night and no lockups but I had a data warning that Facebook had used 4+GB of background data. As soon as I connected to WiFi I got a lock. I've now uninstalled Facebook so we'll see what happens. I may switch back to the BB Launcher as well.

So ... no lockups, phone feels faster and battery life seems to be a ton better since I removed the Facebook app ... interesting.

I've also switched back to the BlackBerry Launcher.
