I'm using the stock Priv launcher, but I find that sometimes the move to "recent apps" (square) or to home page (circle) has significant delays. Seems sometimes I have to touch the "button" more than once... anyone else seeing this?

This is a known issue, widely mentioned on this forum. However, know that this is fixed in Marshmallow.

Yes MM fixes it, but on Lollipop, reverting back to the original Launcher app (before updates) by choosing "Uninstall" from Settings - Apps gets rid of the lag.
Wise to do while waiting for MM to come out.

I'm on the Marshmallow and it is definitely not fixed for me it still hangs and feels laggy I'm not sure if it is due to a RAM issue which seems most likely to me but a simple restart seems to fix it 99% of the time.

I don't have MM but I do a hard restart once a week and have absolutely no issues at all aside from the phone being an Android.

Maybe it is me being overkill but if you do the same it may cure a lot of issues because I never see any problems mentioned on the forum.

Only option available on play store for BlackBerry launcher is "deactivate"

Oops just noticed you said from settings... my bad

But now that I've looked in settings, the Uninstall updates option is grayed out! ?

Crap... it did show for me in the past. Not sure why it isn't now for you.
I'm on MM and on MM it doesn't even show as an app.
