On BB10 the keyboard automatically recognizes different languages and adapts. On Android it doesn't seem to do that, you have to choose between English or whatever language. Is there a way it will auto detect?

There's another thread on the same topic. A solution was found - if your device default language is English, but you set your spell check dictionary to French, for example, both will work simultaneously! Working great for me in any case! En anglais et en fran�ais!

Set keyboard to country. I set that and language to UK because in Canada we spell the same way as the Brits.
But the keyboard language screwed me because it had a pound sign instead of dollar sign.
So my language is UK. Keyboard is now Canada

The solution definitely isn't an obvious one. It's practically an Easter egg! Hopefully will be fixed in future updates.
