Chen was serious when he said he is going to stop all the leaks. The last few months have been very quiet. Even when leap launched, very little was leaked about it and we had no clue that the slider even existed when it was briefly shown at the MWC.

I don't know if it's true that Chen laid off some people for leaking info about 'the Slider' ( not talking about the recent lay offs, but about something i read months ago that people were warned not to leak anything ), but i do find it a bit annoying that you'd want to be so secretive about a phone that no one -except for the Slider lovers and Blackberry peeps- cares about. It can use all the publicity it can get, and it would be nice if the phone would stir up some reactions. The 'cameo' at the MWC was not enough, i mean come on. Give us some info about the design, specs or hell, even a plastic casing that conveniently turns up like it did May 2014 for the BB Passport.

I like it when they do this. What's the point in having leaks? It just spoils it for everyone. The same thing is happening with my favorite show Doctor Who at the moment - nothing coming out. I mean why do you want to know what's coming before you even get to see it?

It's a very American thing to get information before it's supposed to be given to you. To hell to America I say.

Earlier I had stated that I'm going to get this phone no matter what, and I need to correct myself.

If that latest comment from N4BB about the slider being the new Android BlackBerry phone, that is the only situation where I won't be getting myself this device.

I don't want an Android BlackBerry, I want a BlackBerry10 BlackBerry..
