With only 27 weeks until 2020, all due respect, aren’t there bigger issues to focus on regarding a BB10 device? If really important, just buy a Z30 or another device that is Paratek verified.

Sorry but there isn't some "list" of devices. Z30 was really the only one I remember BlackBerry making a big deal about it. One would assume that the Passport and Classic has it. Maybe the LEAP ought to have it - or they stuck with the original Z10 hardware across the board?

Here’s my earlier response about the Leap which at introduction was considered inferior to Z30 model.

Since BB10 is announced EOL at 2019 end, you can buy a Z30 so cheap, why bother with a Leap now?

I have no idea regarding the Leap having Paratek antenna. Perhaps Alexa knows .....

Forget about some marketing gimmick like "paratek antenna". What you should be asking if you want a LEAP... is how is it's reception in your country on your carrier - and maybe there is still someone using it that can answer you.

But if it were me, I'd be looking at what others are using today...

As stated, don't worry about the antenna.

It has more to do with what phone works best, on which bands, in your area.

Your best bet.... is ask local friends and neighbors that use the same service that you are using "what device do you use, and does it get good reception?"

You would be far better off with the Leap anyway. It has much better LTE support than the Z30.

I was thinking same thing as that’s why I replaced my Z30 with a Leap back then however the concern seemed about the antenna.
